Tucked away a few short miles from Hay on Wye you will find this beautiful house, full of Welsh charm from the slate tiles and oak floors, to the Welsh woollen blankets and curtains. The vibe is laid back and rural, with country views across the impressive Black Mountain range and the private lake. The Welsh Border town of Hay on Wye is just three miles away, easily managed by bicycle, with a large array of independent shops, and of course its world famous book festival, of which there are now two each year, one in May and one in November. The Cathedral town of Hereford is 25 miles away and Brecon can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The Black Mountains are pretty much on your doorstep with endless trails and an adventure training centre nearby , should you want to book a guide. For the more adventurous the list is endless with rock climbing, abseiling, gorge walking, rafting, canoeing, archery, caving and pot holing, all available nearby within the Brecon Beacon National Park. On site the leisure facilities include a private lake for swimming or Carp fishing, large games room with piano, punch bag, table tennis, a working arcade game and table football. The house has five bedrooms all on the first and second floors; a super king with dressing room and en suite bathroom with shower and WC, a twin and three further double bedrooms. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower and WC and another bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A separate WC is located on the ground floor. The gorgeous and comfortable lounge has its own woodburner (logs included), TV, DVD, iPod dock and DAB radio with views over the garden and doors to the terrace outside.
