Bryngwyn is a small traditional hamlet, set high in the Radnorshire Hills. It s just 2 miles from Painscastle, a delightful village with a friendly pub serving food, perfect to return to after exploring the rugged landscape of the surrounding countryside. This area of the Welsh Marshes offers excellent opportunities for walking, horse riding, cycling, golf, and water sports either on the doorstep or within easy reach. It s also an ideal base for exploring the lakes and mountains of Mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells, and the book town of Hay on Wye, as well as being famous for the Agricultural Show and the Festival of Literature, also host many other notable events throughout the year. Enjoy the views from the grounds before you step into the entrance porch, which leads to the reception hall with access to the social areas. After a day of exploring, relax in a cosy sitting room with leather sofas and wing backed chairs, with lovely garden views. If you choose, you can enjoy a film on the TV (Netflix is also available). For entertaining, there is a spacious lounge with a wood burner, second TV, selection of board games and French doors opening to the gardens. A formal dining room accommodates 12 guests and is perfect for any celebration. For the chef amongst you, a well equipped kitchen awaits, with a range cooker with electric oven, 5 ring gas hob, additional electric double oven, microwave, large fridge, and dishwasher. Adjacent is a rear hallway with a second dishwasher, freezer, washer dryer and plenty of space for outdoor clothing, alongside a recycling area and a rear entrance door. On the ground floor, off the entrance hall, there is a separate cloakroom with WC as well as a king size bedroom with an en suite walk in shower and toilet. The toilet in here is slightly higher than normal and the shower is an easy access walk in in shower, suitable for the less mobile. The first floor offers five generously sized bedrooms. These comprise a super king with an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, a king size four poster with an en suite shower and WC, a double with an en suite shower and WC, and two twin rooms with basins, served by a separate bathroom and toilet. This impressive house is surrounded by mature gardens, a patio with picnic tables, a charcoal BBQ and an undercover area with further seating. A variety of outdoor games are available. There is off road parking for six cars. Stabling/grazing for horses is available by prior arrangement with the owner.
