This large, beautiful, former vicarage is situated in over an acre of garden and orchard and is surrounded by its own field which is presently left fallow to encourage the local bio-diversity. Located in Herefordshire, near to the village of Peterchurch with its pub, shop and restaurant, it is well situated for Hay on Wye and the Back Mountains. Coming with its own private hot tub and beautiful wooden sauna, it is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Therapist visits can also be arranged for those looking for a massage or facial for the full pampering experience. The garden and orchard offer something for everyone - climbing frame, football goal, top of the range outdoor table tennis, barbecue - you won't struggle to find something to do, be that summer or winter! Having been refurbished to combine classic Victorian features with the best of contemporary style, this property is ideal for large families with children or groups of friends looking for something a bit special to use as a base in this fascinating part of the country. This delightful house has superb views from all rooms and is approached down a long winding driveway. The spacious entrance hall leads into the sitting room with comfy seating and spectacular views over the countryside. Move to the back of the property and there is a beautiful, modern, fully-equipped kitchen with 5-burner range, breakfast bar and patio doors leading onto the stunning garden. The kitchen also opens out to the dining area which has ample space to easily fit twelve people around the table and enjoy relaxing in front of the woodburner. Also on this floor is a utility room with table football, a toilet and a twin bedroom. Up the classic wooden stairs, you first see the sizeable family bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Continue on and you will find a further five bright and generously sized bedrooms, two king-size double en-suite bedrooms, one double, one single and one family room with a double bed and a single bed. Another family bathroom with a corner bath completes the accommodation. Outside are large gardens where you can relax with a refreshing drink, participate in one of the selection of garden games, or enjoy a game of football with the children, a goal is even provided. Take a leisurely walk to the village of Peterchurch where you will find the village shop and a selection of pubs and restaurants. Further afield is Hay-on-Wye, the town of books, renowned globally for its annual Literary Festival and in the other direction, the city of Hereford, with it magnificent cathedral and the Mappa Mundi. Walking is available from the doorstep with guides available and the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) are easily accessible for a day trip.
