The cottage enjoys a great location on the fringes of the picturesque village of Preston on Wye. It is set within an established campsite from which you can access the River Wye where you can hire a canoe, enjoy coarse fishing with a day permit, or simply enjoy the wildlife along the Wye Valley Way. For more challenging terrain, join the Offa s Dyke Path on the Hatterall Ridge (17 miles), or tackle Hay Bluff and the Black Mountains (16 miles). Golfers can head for the nine holes at the Brampton golf course (5 miles). A trip to the vibrant market town of Hay on Wye (12 miles) is a must, where you can pick up local produce from a farmers market, browse the independent shops or relax and enjoy a director's choice movie at Booth s Cinema. This converted barn enjoys a great location where guests can take full advantage of the River Wye, the small on site farm shop and campsite rustic bar. Step inside the accommodation into an open plan living area which offers everything you will need during your stay. Feel right at home in the cosy lounge area with a two seater sofa and Smart TV, a dining table and chairs along with a well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob and fridge with ice compartment. There is a bathroom with a handheld shower, and a WC. A small spiral staircase offers access to a double bedroom where you can enjoy countryside views.
