Set within an organic farm on the banks of the River Wye, this property is surrounded by peaceful countryside of free range livestock and interesting wildlife. Guests can enjoy private access to the river with exclusive rights for game and coarse fishing. With canoe hire available on site, enjoy a memorable journey downstream with loved ones, looking out for resident wildlife along the way. Or, stay on dry land as you follow the Offa s Dyke Path and Wye Valley Walk through changing landscapes, taking in meadows, orchards, remote uplands and gorges. For amenities, stroll into nearby Hay on Wye (0.5 miles), home to a charming selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants together with its world famous bookshops. Inside, this eco friendly cottage is brimming with character, with its timber framed windows, wooden flooring and mid century style. The stunning kitchen has handmade units, a farmhouse table, gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave and wood fired range style oven that supplies the house with hot water. The wonderful open plan lounge/diner is a stylish room in which to relax after a long day on the river. Adorned in beautiful paintings, this room also has a wood burner, L shaped sofa, Freeview TV, DVD player and dining table that looks out to the Black Mountains. A ground floor king size bedroom benefits from its own wood burner and en suite bathroom with shower over the bath.
