Set close to the Welsh borders and within easy reach of the Black Mountains, Elan Valley and Shropshire Hills, you ll not be short of picturesque walking and cycling whatever the time of year. There are many National Trust properties nearby including The Weir Gardens (14 miles), Croft Castle (10 miles), and Berrington Hall (16 miles) to name a few. A variety of festivals run throughout the year such as The Three Choirs, Ludlow Food Festival, and the famous Hay on Wye book festival. Enjoy the drive across the estate land before you arrive in the heart of the working farm. The farmhouse offers spacious accommodation that is suitable for families and groups. You access via a porch that has plenty of space for coats and boots. From here a stable door leads into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, American style fridge freezer, and dishwasher. For dining, there is an area with a generously sized table and chairs for eight. From here you can access the lounge, perfect for relaxing with an open fire and TV. There is a lobby to the side offering access to a utility room with a shower and WC along with the staircase to the first floor. Here you will find a snug with a TV and a sofa, perfect for teenagers wanting their own space. There are four bedrooms: a super king size zip and link (that can be made into twin beds on request) with an en suite shower and WC; another super king size zip and link (that can be made into twin beds on request); and two doubles with a vanity. There is also a bathroom with a separate shower over the bath and WC. Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious enclosed garden with a table and chairs and BBQ. Whilst the garden is enclosed, it does have an open aspect onto the surrounding farmland. Guests are welcome to explore the estate by the waymarked footpaths available from the farmhouse.
