Newtonmore nestles within the upper reaches of the Spey Valley and Cairngorms National Park and makes the perfect base for exploring the many delights this unspoilt part of the Highlands has to offer. Mountain bike trails, horse riding, golf, climbing, hill walking, skiing and a large variety of water sports are just a few of the many activities available. Go bird watching at the RSPB reserves at Insh Marshes and Loch Garten. The many visitor attractions include The Highland Folk Museum, Cairngorm Mountain Railway, Strathspey Steam Railway, Highland Wildlife Park and the Landmark Centre, which are all within easy reach. Further afield, guests can visit Inverness, the Highland capital, Loch Ness and the many beautiful west coast villages.
