This Scandinavian style lodge rests amid wonderful Highlands’s countryside in the village of South Laggan near Invergarry in the Great Glen Water Park. Based over one storey and backed on to a luscious woodland, 20 Great Glen Water Park is idyllic for a family of six. Off-road parking on a first-come, first-served basis welcomes you on arrival, before taking in those quaint surroundings of the country. Upon entering the lodge, you'll be please to find a timber-clad open-plan living space with everything needed for a self-catering break at your fingertips. Sink back into one of the leather sofas whilst you enjoy a film on the TV, before wandering over to the well-equipped and stylish kitchen to rustle up a delicious dinner; the space additionally features integrated appliances, giving it a sleek feel. Once dinner has been fixed up, serve it up at the adjacent dining table and enjoy it together over a glass of wine. As day turns to night, head to one of the three welcoming bedrooms to rest in, two of which comprise twins, and the latter being a double; all the bedrooms provide fitted storage for your belongings. In the morning, freshen up in the shower room's enclosure and head outside for a steaming cup of morning coffee on the quaint patio. Make the most of your access to Loch Oich and the great outdoors by embarking on one of the walking trails or cycling routes in the area or wander down to the water with your own kayak or canoe, no power crafts are permitted on the park Fishing with rod and reel is permitted, but only at certain points of the park, not near the slipway due to the wildlife . Travel a short distance into Invergarry, a village which not only offers your amenities but hosts some fantastic sights, including the Invergarry & Fort Augustus Railway Museum, the Laggan Swing Bridge and The Well of Seven Heads. Venture north to Fort Augustus, home to the stunning Loch Ness Viewpoint, access to the famed Scottish Canals and the esteemed Fort Augustus Golf Club. Find your inner historian on a visit to Fort William, where the West Highland Museum awaits, venture to Caol for a day at the beach, or try your hand at exploring the peak of Ben Nevis; there is plenty to do in the wider area. Whatever you choose to get up to, 20 Great Glen Water Park guarantees a wonderful base for you adventure in the Scottish Highlands.
