Tulach Ard House sits within twelve acres of private farmland, woodland and foreshore. It is a luxury secluded residence, a place to unwind and get away from stresses of life. With beautiful traditional farm buildings on the farm and the best of Highland wildlife surrounding the house.
The 18th Century listed country house has been beautifully restored creating a unique Highland home. Each bedroom offers a different aspect and connection to the surrounding landscape, with views to ancient woodland, misty Skye munros and the private foreshore in front of the house. From bespoke Scottish oak furniture to contemporary natural wool carpets, the luxury and character is embedded in the natural materials and interiors that have been inspired by the colours that surround the house.
There are four king size double bedrooms, two of which are ensuite and one large family bathroom. On the top floor there are two twin rooms with an adjoining shared bathroom. There is a separate annexe with two further twin bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The house is large enough for all guests to feel like they can get away from the outside world. The main living space is a large space with comfortable sofas opposite a large banqueting dining table. There is a TV/cinema room and separate office. There is a family farmhouse kitchen with all the kitchen essentials and an electric AGA. In the annexe there is a fully equipped industrial kitchen with gas hob and oven and further fridges and freezer.
The formal garden surrounds the front of the house and as well as formal flower beds there is large lawn area for garden games.
The owners live on the farm and are available should you need anything during your stay. Catering and welcome food packs are available on request.
Located in Kyle, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront.
