Located in a rural setting near the town of Beauly and two miles from both Beauly and Muir of Ord, this traditional stone cottage is the perfect escape for two people. Conveniently placed for exploring both the Black Isle and Inverness, the property is well situated for keen walkers and those who are looking to do a bit of sightseeing. Various nearby attractions include Chanonry Point in Fortrose where you can spot the dolphins leaping out of the water; Glen Affric with a scenic walking route and nature reserve; Loch Ness where you can do some monster hunting for Nessie; and the River Beauly for keen fishermen (permits can be purchased locally in Beauly itself). The entrance to the cottage leads into the open plan kitchen/diner, which contains a small dining table for two guests. The kitchen is well equipped and contains an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and washing machine. The lounge features comfortable seating focused around a wood burner, with sliding patio doors that lead out to the garden. There are fantastic views of the Cromarty Firth in the distance, with open farmland surrounding the picture perfect scenery. The double bedroom is spacious and contains a ceiling at roof height, with skylights that let in plenty of natural light. The shower room with shower and WC is located next to the bedroom. The lawned garden outside is not enclosed but is private and of a good size. There is garden furniture on a small patio area where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. The property is located beside farmland, where sheep are kept at various times throughout the year. The neighbouring property that is located behind the cottage is the owners' home, and guests have their own designated gravel parking area near the entrance door.
