If you've ever wanted to experience life in harmony with nature, this little cottage will suit you perfectly. Overlooking the stunning Loch Sunart, it's completely secluded and surrounded by wilderness. It was built to blend in, with a turf roof and walls of local timber and stone. Sleeping just two, it's a heavenly romantic hideaway. There's little to do except appreciate the views and indulge in long walks over the surrounding hills before heading back for a cosy evening. For supplies, the town of Salen, 9 miles away, has a general store and a hotel with a bar and restaurant. Kilchoan, 12 miles away, is the jumping off point for ferries to the Isle of Mull. Inside, the accommodation is light and bright, with a large open plan living and sleeping space that makes the most of the views. Windows let in light all around the curved design, which faces mostly south, making the most of the light. The lounge area, with comfortable armchairs and a sofa, is the perfect place to curl up with a book by the window. To keep the place warm, even on the coldest and wildest of winter days, there is an open fire and underfloor heating. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining area is perfectly set up with a table for two by the window. There is a built in double bed an indulgent spa bath, as well as a rainfall shower in the separate bathroom. Outside, there is a terrace overlooking the loch, with garden furniture and a stone built BBQ. There is plenty of space for parking.
