Conveniently located outside Inverness in the picturesque town of Beauly, this cottage is well situated for guests looking to explore the Black Isle and Highland region. From the beaches with leaping dolphins at Chanonry Point in Fortrose to the rugged hills at Glen Affric for keen hikers, there is plenty to do, no matter what your interests. Beauly itself is the home of boutique gift shops and cafes, where local fishing permits can also be purchased for the River Beauly. Loch Ness is a short drive from the cottage where you can go to the visitor centre and participate in boat trips on your hunt for the monster that is said to lurk in the depths of the loch. Enter the cottage into a small vestibule, which serves as a cloakroom for your coats and boots. The lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan, with the kitchen area containing an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. The dining table has seating for two people. The lounge area features a wood burner and a TV/DVD and has patio doors that lead out to the garden. The comfortable king size bedroom is bright and spacious and has a small dressing table. The shower room is of a good size and contains a shower and WC. Outside, the garden is mainly laid to lawn with the exception of a small patio area at the rear of the house with garden furniture, where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is ample parking on the gravel driveway for two cars.
