Situated just 9 miles north is the city of Inverness which offers a variety of great pubs and restaurants lining the River Ness, with walks around the Ness Islands. Other attractions include Inverness Castle, St Andrews Cathedral and Eden Court Theatre. Loch Ness is only (24 miles) to the west with Dores and Loch Ness beaches. Take the opportunity to drive around Loch Ness to Drumnadrochit, go on a Loch Ness boat trip or visit Urquhart Castle. Tomatin Distillery is 12 miles south and the now very famous Clava Cairns (9 miles) and Culloden Battlefield (8 miles) are to the northeast. If a day in the outdoors is what you are looking for, then Aviemore is only 27 miles to the south. Outside, there is a small, enclosed patio area with outdoor garden furniture a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. There is parking for one car in an enclosed driveway.
