This delightful detached two storey cottage which is situated in a quiet lane rests in the village of Grantown-On-Spey, home to local amenities and a variety of outdoor pursuits. The cottage is an ideal retreat for a family or a group of friends, as the accommodation offers flexibility with a king size bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs sharing a family bathroom. Also upstairs is a double bedroom with private shower and on the ground floor a further double with an adjacent walk-in shower, making it ideal for guests who may struggle with stairs. Upon entering you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan sitting room with solid oak wooden flooring, comfortable L shaped seating, and a multi fuel stove central to the layout. A high end fitted kitchen is located across the way, with black gloss units and wooden counter-tops for a high quality finish. Open up the French doors to a wonderful patio area and a beautiful place to relax with a drink or two. A utility room and two shower rooms join the ground floor, with the addition of a snug, for a cosy afternoon reading session. Lastly, discover the family bathroom which is elevated by a corner bath, and an overhead shower to compliment your stay. There is a large double garage, which has been converted into a games room to include a snooker/pool table, table football and darts to keep both the little and big kids amused. Centrally placed, guests can easily walk to the local bakery, butchers and newsagents, or perhaps pop out to one of the lively local pubs for pre-dinner drinks! When you have enjoyed the outdoors and the pretty gardens in their entirety, why not adventure further afield; choose to take a leisurely stroll around the shops, or try out the collection of activities available including mountain biking, fishing, golfing on the area’s five courses, walking in the surrounding hills and woodlands, birdwatching and of course following the Castle and Whisky trails. In season, skiing is a popular activity at the nearby Cairngorms and Lecht Ski Centres, while the scenery of the Cairngorms National Park is not to be missed. EPC Rating: Band C
