The property is in an enviable location just 80 metres from Whiting Bay, a great pebble/sand beach which extends for a mile along the coast when the tide is out. Kids will love poking around in rock pools and there's a coffee shop nearby for well deserved refreshments. As well as coastal walks there are trails inland too it's about a 3 mile round trip from Whiting Bay to Glenashdale Falls and on to the Giant's Grave for some spectacular views over Arran and the Holy Isle. If you're intrigued by the island, there are seasonal ferries running from Lamlash, 5 miles away. Further afield, Brodick Castle and Country Park, 10 miles away, is a great day out for everyone. The bungalow is set on a pretty corner plot, with open sloping gardens and tropical palms waving in the wind. Rooms all lead from a central hallway with space to leave coats, shoes and bags. To the right, the large kitchen has a microwave and a gas hob, plus fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. To the front of the house, the comfortable living room has an additional sunny conservatory with sofas to enjoy the last evening light, plus a dining table for six. Snuggle up in front of a movie from the extensive collection, or take your pick from the many books. On cold nights, the gas fire is a welcome touch. The family bathroom boasts a large corner bath and separate shower cubicle, making getting ready for the day a breeze. A door from the kitchen opens onto a small patio area, with access to the driveway which is useful for unloading or bringing in sandy kit.
