Beautiful two bedroom holiday home in the south-west of Arran that is very dog friendly and a rare find for up to three people.. Sanda View Cottage is a gem of a holiday home on the truly outstanding Isle of Arran. Tucked away in the peaceful south-west of the island, Sanda View Cottage is perfectly placed as a base to explore all parts of Arran. And explore Arran you must do because it has so much to offer. Dubbed as Scotland in miniature you can’t go wrong picking this island as your holiday destination. From mountains to coast, there are countless walking, biking and canoeing opportunities. And the wildlife that resides on and around Arran is brilliantly Scottish with red squirrels, golden eagles and otters a plenty. As well as being an excellent base for you to explore the island at will, Sanda View Cottage is a delightful place to just be and relax.
The owners have created a lovely holiday home for three people. The cottage is adjoined to the owner’s house, but it is very private with its own entrance, garden and aspect with views to Sanda Island and the Mull of Kintyre. The cottage is very dog friendly as the owners have a number of their own pet dogs and are welcoming to all well-behaved furry friends. It’s an excellent place to take your dogs as there are many brilliant walks right from the cottage and locally, the beach is within walking distance, that you’ll all thoroughly enjoy.
Entering the cottage there is a good sized porch area where you can place boots, coats, bikes, after days our exploring the island. You’re drawn through to the open-plan living/dining/kitchen where there is a welcoming wood burner taking centre stage. This comfortable space has everything you would want from the hub of a holiday home. Like the rest of the property it is beautifully decorated and you immediately feel at ease and relaxed. The kitchen area is spacious and has everything you will want to rustle up hearty meals after adventures had around Arran. The first floor has two lovely bedrooms, one double and one single. Both have en-suites, one shower room and one bathroom. Again they are decorated beautifully and are spacious rooms.
Sanda View Cottage is a perfect combination of old meets new, as it is a heritage property that has been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated, modernised and decorated. It’s honestly a pleasure to spend time in. Do not hesitate in booking, it is a lovely holiday home that we’re sure you’ll want to visit again and again. Beach 2 miles.
