One of a handful of properties on the Glen Rosa track, the cottage offers a stunning setting with views of the sea, countryside and Goatfell. Take a stroll into the centre of Brodick to stock up on supplies at the supermarket or enjoy a tasty meal out at one of the independent pubs or cafes. Brodick is also home to a historic castle, which is surrounded by spectacular gardens and makes for a memorable morning out. No visit to this area is complete without a trip to the mighty Goatfell, Arran's tallest peak, whether you choose to tackle it yourself or simply admire it from below. Join the Arran Coastal Way for scenic strolls or jump on a boat to Holy Isle to soak up this area's heritage. Built in 1825 this beautiful cottage is perfect base to explore the Isle of Arran. Mealtimes need never be a chore in the stunning traditional kitchen, which boasts shaker style units, oak worktops, stone flooring and double doors opening onto the garden. Together with all the essentials, the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. While light meals and snacks can be enjoyed at the round table in the kitchen, evening meals are best served in the dining room, where you will also find a sofa, TV and a wood burner, the perfect spot to relax after a meal. The lounge is warm and welcoming with wooden flooring adorned with a classic oriental rug, sash window with original shutters, wood burner effect gas fire and a TV/DVD. There is a shower room on the ground floor with a shower and WC, plus a handy utility area, which is tucked beneath the staircase and houses the washer/dryer and iron. Upstairs on the first floor, there are three beautifully presented bedrooms, one king size, one twin and one single bed with a sofa bed. The bedrooms are decorated in calming muted tones and share a further shower room with shower and WC on the first floor. Stepping outside, a patio area with table, chairs and a parasol is the perfect spot for enjoying an al fresco meal at the end of the day. The large lawn area beyond backs onto rolling fields and is great for dogs and children to play together. There is off road parking for two cars.
