Freshwater is three miles away from Yarmouth, known for its maritime story and its ferry port and marina. Freshwater is just over half an hour s drive from Newport the busiest town on the island. It s the perfect base from which to explore the Needles Landmark Attraction, Tennyson Down, Colwell Bay, Compton Beach and the wild Military Road via the Coast Path. If you love outdoor pursuits Freshwater is close to a number of activity venues including Adventure Activities in Yarmouth who provide opportunities to experience kayaking, coasteering, cliff jumping, archery and more. The cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout to enhance the restful experience that awaits. On arrival you will encounter a charming lounge, home to comfortable seating that centres around a feature fireplace, TV/DVD and games console. Enjoy some of your favourite films and shows or get competitive with some gaming. The room is also a great space to relax and read. Next door is the dining room with seating for six guests. A well equipped kitchen comes complete with a Range style electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and an iPod docking station with radio. A couple of deep steps lead from the kitchen to a lean to store room at the rear of the cottage which is ideal for storing bicycles or walking boots. Fairly steep stairs lead to the first floor which is home to three bedrooms which consist of one double with a Smart TV and two twins. The bathroom contains a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. The rear garden is enclosed and offers a sunny patio with garden furniture. It s a brilliant spot to enjoy some outdoor dining. There is allocated off road parking for two cars on the driveway.
