This delightful cottage is ideally situated within a few minutes walk of the sea at Gurnard. Here you can enjoy paddling, swimming, boating or relaxing on a beautiful quiet beach. A pleasant cafe and nearby public house provide refreshments. There is easy access to the western side of the island with its tranquil sandy coves, or you could visit the nearby Newtown National Nature Reserve an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful area for enjoying breathtaking walks or for a spot of bird watching. The popular town of Cowes is a short drive away a small town famous as a sailing centre with cobbled streets, lovely small shops and a choice of great restaurants. This attractive detached house is clad in Siberian Larch and offers lovely sea views from many of the rooms. On entering you will find a front hallway which opens into a pleasant and beautifully furnished diner with windows overlooking the garden. Two steps down from the diner lead you into the delightful lounge, which features comfy seating, Smart TV/DVD, a traditional wood burner and glimpses of the sea. A French door opens out onto the terrace. Moving into the elegantly designed kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with a gas hob, double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and an integral coffee machine. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in a separate utility room. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a double bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom complete with shower over the bath and a WC. There is also a separate ground floor WC. Going up to the first floor you will find two further cosy bedrooms, each with en suite shower rooms. There s a double room with a king size bed and sea views, and a twin room. An additional folding bed can also be provided if the travel cot has not been requested. There is also an additional lounge to be found on the first floor, with large windows overlooking the sea. Here you can relax and watch the yachts and boats passing. Adjoining this room is a balcony which is an attractive spot to sit in on warm evenings. Stepping outside, you can relax in the secluded fenced garden which has a sunny terrace with garden furniture and a gas BBQ so you can enjoy dining al fresco. There s also access to a hot tub by prior arrangement at an additional cost of 100 per week or per short break. Parking is available for two cars. The property also has a Chargemaster unit installed, so guests with electric cars can charge them with ease.
