Francis Hollow is a newly renovated and beautifully appointed ground floor apartment situated in the heart of Southsea. With 1 king sized room that can be reconfigured to a twin room, 1 generous double room and a sofa bed in the lounge area which is open plan with the kitchen, it can comfortably accommodate 4 guests for stays of any duration and up to 6 guests for shorter stays when making use of the sofa bed.

Francis Hollow is a great place to stay whether you are visiting for work or pleasure. Providing all the comforts of a modern hotel, with free wifi, flat screen smart TV, Netflix, high quality beds and furnishings and hotel quality linen, we also provide all the facilities needed to cook at home. A well equipped kitchen includes an oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, plus all the crockery, pots and pans etc needed for the majority of dishes.
Situated in Southsea, Francis Hollow is a beautifully refurbished, spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Close to the seafront, Southsea shopping and nightlife, the accommodation is perfectly located to provide easy access to all that Portsmouth and Southsea has to offer while still affording a traditional Southsea setting.
Guest access is self-check-in via key safe. To the left of the front door of the property, you will find a key safe. The code for the key safe will be sent to you 48 hours before check-in, please ensure keys are returned to the key safe on Check-out.
At Francis Hollow we offer check in from 3pm and no earlier unless otherwise agreed and check out no later than 11am.
Located in a traditional, Victorian terraced street just off Albert Road, the property’s location is excellent with plenty of free on street parking (permits provided). It's just a 20 minute walk to Southsea beach, South Parade Pier and Canoe Lake which is a great area if you have kids with you. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the bustling Albert Road with its vast selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, an eclectic mix of boutique shops, the beautiful Kings Theatre and the Wedgewood Rooms (live music venue).
Just a 10 minute drive or taxi ride gets you to the Historic Dockyard where you can see the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior plus a host of other exhibitions and to Gunwharf Quays for outlet shopping, plus more restaurants, bars and a cinema. Also in close proximity, is the Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym, Southsea Castle, D-Day Museum, Royal Marines Museum, Natural History Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium, Clarence Pier (amusement park), Southsea Common and the Skate Park.
If you are visiting Portsmouth to work, everything is easily accessible from here. By car, the Naval Base, Airport Service Road estate, Broad Oak (BAE Systems and Airbus) are all only 10 minutes away, and Lakeside North Harbour, Queen Alexandra Hospital and Langstone Technology Park are only 15 minutes away.
