The lodge itself enjoys stunning sunsets and views of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Roam the local trails by foot or by bike, or venture 10 miles into the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to go wildlife spotting. Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, Leighton Hall Estate and Jenny Brown's Point are all less than 7 miles, while the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Forest of Bowland are all within a 20 mile drive. Enter this lakeside lodge and feel welcomed by the rustic charm of this cosy holiday let. A mix of farmhouse style furnishings and contemporary touches create a relaxed atmosphere. On the ground floor you ll find the delightful open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can socialise and catch up on favourite TV shows. The kitchen area has an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and balcony access, and there s also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. Take your pick from three tranquil bedrooms. There is one super king size zip and link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) set on the ground floor. There s a ground floor shower room too. Up on the first floor, there s a four poster king size room with an en suite bathroom, and a super king size room (which can be made into a twin on request) with a shower room. Both with their own balcony overlooking the quarry lake. Sit out on the balcony to dine with the scenic water and mountain panorama before you. There is also a wonderful private hot tub that you can request to use for a small cost upon booking this retreat. To conserve energy, the hot tub will only be available if pre arranged. There is off road parking.
