For lovers of the outdoors, there are an abundance of picturesque walks and cycle trails nearby including the popular Hollingworth Lake (2 miles) and Piethorne Valley country park (3 miles). The stunning Peak District National Park is just 10 miles away where you can explore the spectacular scenery and visit the many picturesque towns and villages it boasts. For a spot of retail therapy, head into the metropolitan City of Manchester (15 miles).
