The impressive sweeping staircase leads up to 6 further bedrooms, all beautifully presented.

The house is nestled within the village of Brundall, located along the River Yare. It is the centre for boat building and boat hire, and has its own railway station, post office, mini-market, hairdresser and local eateries. There are two good food serving pubs both within walking distance, one located at the riverside and the other within the village itself with a large garden.

Leave the car behind and walk down the hill to the train station, less than a half mile walk. Here you can jump on the train and visit the city of Norwich, or the traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Norwich is only 8 miles away where guests can visit the cathedral, castle museum, theatre, excellent shopping and art galleries. Wroxham, only 7½ miles away, is known as the Capital of the Norfolk Broads, and has waterside shops, cafés, and daily boat hire with river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways. There is an RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen, 1 mile.
Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches are within 14 miles and include Winterton-on-Sea, Waxham, Horsey and Sea Palling. For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens with a renowned collection of Asian mammals including birds. Here you will also find reptiles in the pleasantly landscaped gardens. Close by, the village of Strumpsham has a steam museum, and Reedham offers Pettitt’s Animal Adventure Park. Beach 14 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
