Upon entry, you’ll be greeted with rooms of good proportion, with multiple options for where all, or parts of, the group can gather. Whether it’s for a formal meal around the light and airy dining table, or enjoying a paper on the kitchen island, or just relaxing in the comfortable seating provided in the sitting room or in the snug, you will be well catered for. Stepping into the enclosed south facing garden through one of the many french doors adds yet more choice as here you’ll find an outdoor dining space that is accompanied by the covered and heated dining gazebo, with plenty of room for all 10 guests and served by a strong Wi-Fi connection.
Sumptuous bedrooms also await, all of which have been appointed in a stylish yet comfortable fashion, meaning that all of guests will feel equally well looked after. All five bedrooms have accompanying bath and wet rooms, with one found on the ground floor, providing good access for those with mobility concerns. This room also has french doors that on to the rather fun putting green!
For exceptional convenience, the property also provides plenty of space for several cars to park in, with an electric car charging point also provided.
Aside from the superb facilities and styling, Little Court also benefits from being less than a minutes’ walk from the village green, around which you’ll find a range of superb independent shops and places to eat. For the chefs in the group, you can take a quick stroll to Gurneys Fish Shop, Arthur Howell butchers, Uttings for fresh fruit and veg or to Humble Pie for deli options and wonderful local cheeses. If you prefer to have the catering provided by professionals, you’ll be sure to enjoy The Hoste Arms, Number 29 or Socius, all of which are within a two minute walk from the front door.
The surrounding countryside and coastline also offers a great many unique opportunities for days out and exploration. Scolt Head Island in Brancaster is a nature reserve which few find. John Brown of Branta Cruises runs regular trips aboard his boat Laura May, giving visitors a chance to explore the remote nature reserve with in the company of an expert guide. Other noteworthy nature reserves can be found at RSPB Titchwell and in the Norfolk Coast Area of Natural Beauty, to which the Holkham Estate is central. For the more daring, paddleboarding lessons can be booked at with Steve Conway in Burnham Overy Staithe, or kite surfing with Hunstanton Water sports. While a day of golfing can be enjoyed at one of the courses in Hunstanton, Brancaster or Sheringham.
