We welcome you to our south facing chalet, which is situated on the pristine sundowner holiday park, which offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere for your stay. A short walk from the chalet through the entrance, you can find a cafe, bar and shop just across the road, or a bit further, there is a chip shop, ice cream shop, a pub, bingo and amusements. Chill out in the totally renovated chalet (2022), or take a walk to the golden Sandy beach and the traditional English sea side attractions, amusements, food and entertainment.
If you don’t want to leave your furry friends at home, we welcome up to 2 medium sized well behaved dogs as well.
Our aim is to offer a simple, spotlessly clean and comfortable place for your family and pets to stay for your holiday, with all the traditional sea side treats close by.
From a 3 night stay, to as long as you wish, 243 sundowner offers a clean, bright and comfortable place to call home from home, with bedding supplied and a welcome pack of tea, coffee, toilet rolls, bin bags etc. to help get you started and there are tea towels for use during your stay. Electricity is by £1 and £2 coin meter, with a £5 credit to get you up and running and currently we do not supply towels or toiletries.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Hemsby offers the lost world adventure golf, hursts family fun park, the mega maze, go karting, lifeboat charity shop, a golden Sandy beach to relax and play sandcastles or walk along the coast for miles of scenery, amusements to occupy you for hours, 2 great pubs offering great food and drink and the usual sea side chips, hot dogs, donuts and candy floss.
If you want to travel a bit further afield by car or bus ( bus stop is just outside the main gate ), then Great Yarmouth ( 15 min drive ) offers a pleasure beach full of rides including 4 rollercoasters, the hippodrome circus for all the family, 2 piers with bowling, amusements and well known acts, the Kerridale model village, sea life centre, horse drawn carriage rides along the front, horse racing track and a greyhound racing track and many more things than I can list here.
A bit further takes you to the famous norfolk broads, with day hire boats, broads tour boats, paddle boarding and canoeing , travel on the 9 mile miniature steam train on the bure valley railway from Wroxham, take the children to bewilderwood and trilgby hall wildlife gardens or Africa alive at Lowestoft. Baby seals can be seen on the beaches at blakeney point between June and august, with adult seals all year round. Further on takes you to Cromer (45min drive )which is perfect for catching crabs from the pier and then sheringham ( 50 min drive )with its very tradition town and the chance to travel on a full size steam engine on the north norfolk railway.

This chalet is located in Great Yarmouth. Gariannonum Roman Fort and Horsey Windpump are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Norfolk Broads and Norfolk Coast. Oasis Amusements and Lost World Adventure Golf are also worth visiting.
