You will find plenty of wildlife to enjoy around the lake behind the cottage. A short stroll from the cottage is access to Weavers Way (a dismantled national railway footpath).
Lovely sandy beaches at Sea Palling and Mundesley are only a short drive away. The nearby town of Stalham has all the essential amenities like newsagents, local shops, banks, chemist, takeaways, pubs, and a Tesco with petrol garage.
Other popular villages and towns like Horning, Wroxham (for the Broads, boat trips and day boat hire), North Walsham, Cromer and Great Yarmouth, are within easy reach. The city of Norwich is a great place for shopping and sightseeing and is only a 30 min drive away. There are several National Trust properties within easy reach.
The cottage has an open plan ground floor. A comfortable lounge area, with flatscreen TV, DVD and video player, and stereo (a library of videos, CDs and books are provided). The kitchen and dining area are well equipped with cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. Sliding patio doors from the lounge open onto a private patio area overlooking the lake. Young children should be supervised whilst around the lake area. Upstairs are two bedrooms; a double with views overlooking the lake to the rear, and a twin with countryside views to the front. Bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Bed linen, bathroom towels, tea towel, electric and heating are included.

Located in Norwich, this cottage is in a rural area and on a lake. Norfolk Broads and Hickling Broad reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include East Ruston Old Vicarage and The Museum of the Broads. Sim-Air and Hoveton Hall Gardens are also worth visiting. Motor boating and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails nearby.
