With lots of great places to eat, drink and shop within walking distance, you may well be tempted to park up for the week and even take the time to relax and unwind with a good book. But, if you can tear yourself away from this light, airy and stylish property, you will find much to see and do in the area.
Close by lies the pretty seaside village of Mundesley, with its wide sandy beach, considered one of the best in the area by the locals. Head east or west from here and discover a string of pretty coastal towns and villages boasting salt marshes, sand dunes and quays. Head to Cromer with its famous pier, undertake a spot of crabbing at Blakeney or be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads within 20 minutes’. North Walsham itself boats a mainline train station which will take you to the coast, the Norfolk Broads and even in to Norwich. If you head into Norwich you will discover a splendid Norman castle a host of museums galleries and theatres and lots of places to shop, including the lanes which host a range of boutique establishments. Add in attractions such as Amazonia Zoo, Thrigby Wildlife Gardens, Bewilderwood, Blickling Hall, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Cley Marshes, the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections and North Norfolk and Bure Valley Railways and you will soon see why people return to this part of Norfolk year after year. Located in North Walsham, this cottage is on a river. Happisburgh Lighthouse and Blickling Hall are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Sim-Air and East Ruston Old Vicarage. Hoveton Hall Gardens and The Museum of the Broads are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
