This beautiful luxury barn, located in a quiet corner of North Creake overlooking a wild flower meadow is just two miles from Burnham Market and has generously-sized rooms throughout, three Super-king size bedrooms, a stunning galleried landing and best of all is in walking distance of a good pub and a five minute drive away from the bustling village of Burnham Market.
Not many properties can boast three well-appointed Super-king size bedrooms, and with one large en-suite bedroom on the ground floor (the bed is set up as two 3 ft single beds but can be made up as a Super-king bed on request) there is plenty of privacy, particularly if you're holidaying with friends. On the first floor there are two further large Super-king size bedrooms and a shower room, divided by a stunning galleried landing which stretches the entire length of the barn. In the far bedroom there is also a single day bed, ideal if you have small children accompanying you or equally for another adult.
With a relaxed country-style kitchen with large rustic kitchen table, there is plenty of space to prepare breakfast, lunch or supper. Off here you will find a hallway, perfect for storing coats and boots which leads into a large and comfortable vaulted and beamed sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating set around the large fireplace with wood burning stove.
Outside, enjoy the enclosed garden and seating and barbecue provided within. This is a superb space for children to play while still being confined in the garden, far away from busy roads and is ideal for catching the last rays of the day on long summer evenings. There is a table tennis table stored in the utility room to the side of the property which guests are welcome to use in the garden and the utility storeroom is also perfect for storing bikes, kayaks or paddleboards away securely. It is worth noting that the adjacent fields provide excellent hunting grounds for numerous raptors, with Red Kites, Kestrels and Barn Owls often seen over the wild flower meadow.
The Cart Shed (NC) is also available as a sleeps four option with bedroom two closed off, see link for details.
If you are looking for a unique experience, book a tour at the fabulous Burn Valley Vineyard and help with the grape harvest or, join one of the wonderful Secret Suppers held at the Vineyard itself on a Friday and Saturday evening. But be sure to book early! When you start to explore further afield, you will find an abundance of great places to eat and experiences to enjoy. Dinner at the Michelin starred Morston Hall or lunch, dinner and/or shopping in nearby Burnham Market are just two examples of experiences that you can enjoy. For takeaways, a trip into Wells-next-the-Sea will reveal two fantastic fish and chips options, at Plattens and at Frenchs.
For a more energetic exploration, why not get out on the water with either a fishing trip or a nature cruise out to Scolt Head Island nature reserve. For landlubbers, a trip to the Holkham or Brancaster beach will appeal, or renting E-bikes and roaming under your own (electric-assisted) steam!
