Tockwith is famed for its role in the English Civil War and lies just 1.5 miles from Marston Moor where one of the biggest battles ever on British soil took place. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists with an abundance of tracks and trails straight from the doorstep. The vibrant city of York is just 9 miles away where you can browse the cobbled streets, take a stroll around the ancient city walls, or visit one of the renowned museums, including the Jorvik Viking Centre. For a spot of retail therapy, the popular spa town of Harrogate (13 miles) can be reached in just over half an hour. This beautiful single level accommodation has been wonderfully converted from a former stable, retaining beams and many original features. As you enter the property you are greeted by a bright and spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax on the comfortable sofas and watch a movie on the Smart TV or take a seat around the dining table and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The kitchen area is stylish and fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
