The village of Leavening (2.5 miles) is home to one pub, with more scattered in the surrounding area and plenty more in the town of Malton just 8 miles away. Malton is known as 'Yorkshire's Food Capital' so foodies can delight in browsing the Malton Monthly Food Market. Adjacent to the owners home, yet with privacy assured, a shared gravel drive gives access to this converted stable barn. Step inside into a welcoming entrance with plenty of space to hang coats and leave behind your shoes. The cosy living space incorporates the lounge and dining area whilst a separate kitchen is generously equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Take your home cooked meal over to the dining table to savour whilst planning your next adventure. After dinner, snuggle up on the sofa and listen to some music on the Bluetooth speaker or pick a movie to watch on the Smart TV, warmed by the heat of the wood burner effect electric fire. When the night calls, the bedroom has a comfy king size bed and plenty of storage space for you to pack away your things. The shower room is beside the bedroom and features a large shower enclosure and WC. Outside, there is a private decked terrace where you can dine alfresco on the bistro table for two, which is also the perfect spot to enjoy the morning birdsong with a brew. Relax tired muscles after a long day of walking by sinking into the bubbling water of the hot tub. There is off street parking provided for two cars.
