The nearby spa town of Harrogate offers a variety of shops, Turkish Baths, and the famous Bettys Tearoom. Other attractions within easy driving distance include Knaresborough, RHS Harlow Carr, Ripon Cathedral, and Fountains Abbey.

Upon arrival at the stone cottage, guests enter a spacious hallway leading to a comfortable lounge with an open fire, TV/DVD, and Nintendo Wii console. The well-equipped kitchen/diner features a farmhouse style dining table, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The cottage has three bedrooms, including a single room on the half landing, a king size master bedroom, and a twin room that can be converted into a super king size room upon request. Additional fold out single beds are available for larger parties. The bathroom on the first floor offers a shower over bath and WC.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private patio area with seating and access to a shared enclosed lawn garden with picturesque views of the countryside. Garden furniture is provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own BBQs. The property also has an on-site cook shop open Tuesday to Saturday afternoons. Off-road parking for 2-3 cars is available, making this cottage a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the surrounding area.
