The cottage sits on the edge of the Howardian Hills and is only 2.5 miles from Easingwold which boasts an excellent choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Conveniently placed for endless places to walk or cycle nearby, the cottage is on Route 65 cycle route, with off road biking and walking also available at Sutton Bank and Dalby Forest. The coastal towns of Scarborough and Filey are just over an hour away by car, where you can visit the Scarborough Castle, North and South bay or walk along Filey Brigg and if you're lucky you may spot a seal or two. Brimham Rocks is great place to visit for the walkers and climbers amongst you with some amazing views to take in. Nearby market towns of Northallerton, Malton and Thirsk are well worth a visit and all offer a great choice of eateries and shops. Step inside this single storey property through the side entrance and be welcomed into the utility room, a handy space for wet coats and muddy boots. It's also where you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer and wet room with a shower and WC off the utility room. The kitchen is generously equipped with everything you need to prepare hearty breakfasts, picnics and suppers, including a range style gas hob, electric oven, AGA (decoration only) , American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Take your homemade meal into the dining room with a large table comfortably seating six. The lounge is very spacious with plenty of comfy seats, whether you want to watch a film on the Smart TV or read a book. If the weather is cold and wet, you can still enjoy the garden and the views from the sunroom. When it's time to retire to bed, there are three bedrooms to choose from, a king size, a double and a twin room, each providing space for your belongings. There is a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC, and a separate WC. Outside, is a spacious wrap around garden with plenty of room to potter and play. Throw a log into the wood fired hot tub for a soothing experience, the perfect way to end the day. There is ample off road parking.
