The Space:
Larpool Mews Holiday Home is bright and spacious, with the perfect mixture of modern and traditional features. On the ground floor, you’ll find a beautiful open plan kitchen and dining area. This space includes a stylish kitchen with modern appliances. It is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and dishwasher so you’ll have everything you need for your stay
As well as the kitchen, there is a large dining table. Perfect for family breakfasts or evening meals with friends, this space was made for socialising. Whether you’re cooking up a storm in the kitchen or ordering in a takeaway, nothing beats spending a cosy night in with your loved ones.
You’ll instantly feel at home in Larpool Mews Holiday Home. The living area is made up of two comfy sofas, an armchair and a flat screen TV. Snuggle up and relax after a long day of exploring Whitby.
The first bedroom is a calming and clean space. With a comfortable, king size bed and plush bedding, you’ll feel relaxed in no time. This bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room with a wash basin and WC.
The second bedroom is cosy with homely interiors. It boasts a super king bed as well as a trundle bed which can be made up for use if requested prior to your stay.
The third bedroom is a light and airy space with traditional beams overhead. This twin room is perfect if you are travelling with children.
The family bathroom on this floor is stylish and fresh, featuring a bath with an overhead shower. A separate WC can also be found on the ground floor.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is private on-site parking for 3 vehicles at Larpool Mews Holiday Home.
Guests are politely asked to use the porch area for storing shoes throughout their stay,
The Neighborhood:
Larpool Mews Holiday Home is located on the east side of Whitby. Stay here and you’ll be in the perfect spot to explore everything the seaside town has to offer. Just a short walk will bring you to the town centre where you’ll find narrow, mediaeval streets dotted with shops, pubs and cafes. Explore boutiques selling Whitby Jet jewellery or try the local catch of the day in one of the many restaurants.
Climb the famous 199 steps and you’ll arrive at the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Head over the small bridge which crosses the River Esk and you’ll find yourself on the west side of Whitby. Venture along Pier Road and you’ll see arcades and shops, plus plenty more pubs and restaurants. Keep walking and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff beach which is lined with beach huts. Take a stroll along the pier and watch the waves lap the shores below.
The Cinder Track can be accessed nearby so you'll be able to enjoy a fantastic walk or cycle to Hawsker and Robin Hoods Bay.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short 20-minute walk from Larpool Mews Holiday Home.
Whitby train station is less than 15-minutes away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.

This vacation home is located in Whitby. Whitby Abbey and Whitby Pavilion are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Whitby Harbour and Whitby Golf Club. Museum of Victorian Science and The Moors National Park Centre are also worth visiting.
