Lying at the heart of the picture-perfect village of Runswick Bay on the wonderful Yorkshire coast, Lobster Lodge is an attractive and contemporary lodge sitting just a stone’s throw away from the glistening sands of Runswick Bay Beach. Set across the ground floor, this beautifully renovated lodge adds a touch of luxury to any celebration. Step into a bright and spacious open-plan living space, perfect for hosting your nearest and dearest on a fun-filled escape to Yorkshire. Take a seat at the large dining table and indulge in a delicious bottle of wine whilst chatting amongst friends, watching as the chef of the group takes to the stylish kitchen and prepares a mouth-watering meal with the help of the impressive gas oven and hob or air fryer. Open up the large French doors and delight in drinks out on the veranda, taking a seat at the pretty table and admiring views of the stars. Return to the warmth of the lodge, snuggling up on the chic cream sofas as you keep nice and toasty from the heat of the electric fire and watch a movie on the Smart TV. Off the sitting area there is a small yet handy utility room with a washer/dryer, so that you can keep on top of the laundry throughout your stay. Discover three gorgeous bedrooms; a master bedroom suite which has a double bed and a lovely en-suite shower room with a shower, WC and hand wash basin. A twin bedroom has two, full size 3′ beds plus there’s a charming family bedroom with a full size 3′ single bed plus adorable cabin-inspired bunk beds! The interior is complete with a tranquil bathroom with a large rolltop bath, together offering a serene setting to relax with a long evening soak. Spend the morning embracing the salty sea air as you sip on a warm cup of coffee and watch the children as they play on the well-manicured lawns. Travel to the historical town of Whitby and see the imposing Gothic Ruins of Whitby Abbey, said to be the inspiration behind Bram Stokes Dracula. Take in the breath-taking views of the town and coast from the top of the 199 Steps, before descending down to the cobbled streets, stopping off at St Mary’s Church along the way. Take a boat out to sea to spot elegant whales on a guided tour, or stay on land as you soak up the sunshine on Whitby Beach. Hop on the Saltburn Cliff Tramway for a scenic journey with views of the sea. Travel back in time at Winkies Castle or head deeper into the North York Moors for an awe-inspiring hike through the countryside, uncovering the enchanting waterfalls of Beck Hole and Mallyan Spout. Further afield, the bustling resort town of Scarborough offers a fun-filled day out for the family with Alpamare UK Waterpark and SEA LIFE Scarborough. Wander the grounds of the ancient stronghold of Scarborough Castle, or learn of the local history at the Rotunda Museum. Be sure to make the most of quality time with those closest to you on an unforgettable holiday to Yorkshire at the luxurious Lobster Lodge.
