Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. . Steepleton Lodge Farm is located in rural Northamptonshire and is home to three fantastic glamping pods: Althorp, Holdenby and Coton. All enjoying breath taking views over the beautiful countryside, these pods offer comfortable and quirky accommodation whether you want a short break or have more time to enjoy a relaxing weeklong stay. All three Pods have open plan living with a double bed and a small double sofa bed with kitchen/dining facilities opening up to a decking area with individual outdoor seating for each Pod.
Situated on the family run farm, you’ll be able to observe the activities of everyday life on the farm and see their well cared for livestock. Straight from your pod you can explore the surrounding woodlands, which enjoys a shaded communal area or go for a country walk on the farms walk ways and visit the natural spring, which is reportedly a source of the River Nene. You can even bring along your horse, with individual paddocks behind your pod accommodating up to two horses and many hacking routes for you to explore both off road around the farm and locally (arranged with the owner). The farm is also host to JK Equestrian which boasts a 60 x 30m arena which is hired locally and offers a full set of jumps and private/semi-private riding lessons by Jennie.
These Pods are the perfect accommodation to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy quiet and peaceful surroundings with stunning views at one of the highest points in rural Northamptonshire, ideal for couples, friends and small families. The owners are committed to ensuring you have a fantastic stay and can arrange an array of optional extras including BBQ, firepit and breakfast packs and BBQ packs using farm produce.
As the names of the Pods suggest, there are many wonderful places and attractions to visit including Althorp, final resting place of Princess Diana, Holdenby House, Sulgrave Manor, Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens, Castle Ashby, Coton Manor Gardens, Silverstone Race Track, Greyhound Racing at Towcester Race Course, visit the independent shops at Heart of the Shires to name a few. This is the ideal location for a base to explore the surrounding areas of Northamptonshire and neighbouring counties. Pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Camp fires are only permitted in the firepit and with the firewood provided/bought from the owner, due to new smoke regulations. Disposable BBQs are NOT permitted on site due to safety reasons.
There is JK Equestrian, which is run by Jennie Sharpe. JK equestrian has a 60 x 30m arena, which is hired locally and offers a full set of jumps and private/semi-private riding lessons by Jennie (with your own horse). There is also individual paddocks next to the pods to bring your own horse, max 2 horses per pod, arranged for a supplement with the owner directly.
