A must see is the ancient Alnwick Castle and its beautiful grounds. Visit the armoury before enjoying a break in the tearoom. Explore the bustling harbour village of Seahouses, 8 miles away, which is where you will find the nearest supermarket. Step on board one of the pleasure boats at the harbour that take you to the Farne Islands where you may spot puffins, razorbills and even a sunbathing seal.
