This lovely single-storey timber lodge is in an ideal location for a seaside getaway in this spectacular part of the country. Aurora Skies sits within in its own secluded garden in the grounds of the owners home, in the village of Cresswell on the North Sea coast a two minute walk from the sandy beach. You enter this holiday home via a private pathway and across the garden to ascend a step onto a decked veranda with outdoor furniture and a patio heater, which is a great place to sit and admire the garden and sea views while enjoying a cool drink in the evening sunlight. It can also be a great place to witness the Northern Lights. Entering the accommodation you will find an open plan living area with a well-equipped modern kitchen, dining area and a cosy sitting area. There are two comfortable bedrooms, one king-size double and one adult bunks room, both sharing a light and airy shower room. Cresswell is popular with wildlife lovers and is home to Cresswell Pond, a large lagoon that has been created as the result of subsidence from old collapsed mine works which is connected to the sea providing excellent feeding for wading birds all year round. A short drive north will bring you to the picturesque harbour village of Amble, with a lovely assortment of shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways.
