To explore the local scenery, embark on a trip the village of Walkworth where you can walk along the riverside and explore the medieval Castle. To experience the culture of Northumberland, travel towards the coast and visit Amble Harbour Village, digest the 10,000 years of history at Bailiffgate Museum or work through the array of activities at Cragside - National Trust. Warkworth is also nearby with the unspoilt Warkworth Beach, the hilltop ruins of Warkworth Castle, and Warkworth Golf Club for a game or two with sea views. Further along the Northumberland Coast AONB, with plenty of coastal walks to explore, you'll find the village of Bamburgh with a golden, sandy beach overlooked by the majestic Bamburgh Castle.
