The Old chapel was built in 1848 and has just been through a total transformation, completed in March 2021.
luxuriously finished with 5m high ceilings to the first floor, the original brickwork restored to give a cool and modern loft-aesthetic and beautiful 3.5m arched sashed windows replaced to bring ultimate light and impact to the property (don’t worry, we have blinds!), these holiday homes are most definitely unique to this incredible conservation area!
Each mezzanine apartment has 2 bedrooms with modern en-suite bathrooms / wet rooms with beautiful finishings, powder room an open plan living and dining area and a fully fitted equipped kitchen.
We offer flexible sleeping arrangements with the option of one king-size or 2 single beds to each bedroom.
We have thought of everything you need, and things you maybe didn’t even know you did! With a Nespresso coffee machine, a smart induction hob with downward draft extractor, a Smart TV streaming your favourite Netflix and Freeview programmes, Nest central heating and air conditioning, a fully kitted out laundry / boot room, entertainment library and multiple spaces for relaxing, chatting and dining, our Old Chapel apartments are amazing, not to mention insta-worthy, holiday homes right in the centre of Sherwood Forest!
Feel the comfort of home within a 'hotel-like' environment. Fresh linens/towels and essentials are provided to guests.
Guests will receive an entrance code prior to arrival, this will allow you access the main entrance, you will then be able to collect the apartment keys.
The apartments are right in the centre of Edwinstowe Village, located close to Newark in Nottinghamshire.
An enviable location nestled in the heart of the village boasting very short walks to local pubs, superb restaurants and cafes.
The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding country parks and estates, National Trust parks and has plenty of walking and cycling trails, as well as stunning golf courses close by - Sherwood Forest and the major Oak are walking distance (less than 1 mile), Rufford Country Park (2 miles), Sherwood Pines (2.5 miles), Clumber Park (7 miles), Newark Castle (16 miles)

You can access the property by foot from Edwinstowe High street or we offer free off-road parking at the rear of the property, access to the carpark is via West lane.

There are many local cycle trails which are easily accessed from the property. National Cycle routes and Sherwood Pines are within the locality.
Accommodation balance is due 28 days prior to check in, no payment will be taken until this date. For bookings made within 28 days the full balance will be charged at time of booking.
A security deposit of £200 will automatically be held on the credit/Debit card provided upon check in and automatically refunded after inspection of the property on check out.
Through our website we can only accept bookings 9 months in advance. However, we are always happy to reserve dates for guests who have special occasions in our local area. please contact us to enquire about a future provisional booking. Please note for future bookings the balance is required 2 months prior to check in.
This apartment is located in Mansfield. The National Holocaust Centre and Museum and The Harley Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Worksop Golf Club and Oakmere Park Golf Club.
