The thriving village of Wroxton is situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside just three miles north west of Banbury. The ancient village boasts a village green with pond, home to an abundance of wildlife, with its own thatched duck house, many thatched cottages and a country Hotel with bar and restaurant. Abbey grounds/walks open to public most days. Wroxton Abbey is a beautiful 15th century manor house set in landscaped gardens and is located in the centre of this unspoilt village. The nearby historic market town of Banbury sits on the banks of the River Cherwell in the Cherwell Valley. Spring Cottage is a fantastic, thatched cottage which embodies the typical English village image, and is great for a couple or small family to come and enjoy Oxfordshire.
