The apartment is situated in Market Street, in the Anglo-Saxon heart of old Charlbury. There are four pubs, two café-delis, a Coop convenience store, a pharmacy and a museum very close by, and the railway station and Evenlode river are just a 5 minute walk.

On the front of the building there's a blue plaque in honour of Larcum Kendall, a famous watch and clockmaker who lived on the site and learned his trade in Charlbury. He made the H4 chronometer to aid longitudinal navigation that was taken by Captain Cook on his last exploration to the South Pacific.
