Serve up your creation at the dining table opposite the sitting area, and take stock of the day’s events before planning what's next. When you're ready to venture out head first to Freshwater Beach when the weather is good, delight in making sandcastles with little ones with the golden sands, taking a dip in the sea and exploring the dunes which back the beach. Walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and access the remote Swanlake Bay, a shingle beach which reveals beautiful golden sands and rock pools at low tide, it makes for a peaceful and quiet haven. For a more bustling environment visit the county town of Pembroke, and walk around the historic Pembroke Castle before exploring the waterfront of the estuary and finding somewhere good to enjoy a well-deserved meal out.
