Just metres away from the water's edge in the popular seaside town of Tenby, discover Sea Drfit, a modern ground-floor apartment. Ideal for friends looking to get together, or a small family adventure to the coast, the apartment is of great quality and size providing you with a fantastic base from which to explore. On your way back from an afternoon on the beach, use Sea Drift's street entrance and enter into the open-plan living space, take the weight off your feet and flop down on the plush sofa and armchair arrangement for well-earned rest, taking in the views of the sea and Caldey Island. After all that fresh-air you'll be tired so why not put a film on and enjoy a quiet evening in, making use of the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up something delicious for everyone. Enjoy your meal together as a group around the dining table and share your favourite moments of your day before planning ahead for the rest of the week. When it's time to head off to bed, you can choose from two beautifully decorated bedrooms; a triple room with king-size and single, and a double room, with the triple benefiting from built-in wardrobes, great for storing your personal items. The bedrooms are served by a spacious bathroom, which includes a shower over the bath, so if you have a spare 30-mins jump in the tub for a relaxing soak. To the outside, at the back entrance there is a courtyard with table and chairs, so you can enjoy some alfresco dining if you are lucky with the weather. The Sunday Times has awarded Tenby's Castle Beach with the coveted annual Sunday Times Beach of the Year Award for 2019, and you can see why, with its placid waters and sandy shoreline, backed by cliffs that cover it from the winds, it is idyllic in the warm summer sunshine. To take in some excellent views, you must visit St Catherine's Island if it's open, a small tidal island that can be visited when the tide is out, winds are reasonable and the rain isn't blowing, after climbing up steps, over the open bridge and to the top, you can enjoy 360-degree views of Carmarthen Bay and the best view of Tenby. For an alternative look at Tenby, join a guided ghost walk and tour the towns spooky heritage, with haunting tales of dark history, mysteries, and murders, voted one of the best walks of its type across Britain. The history buffs of the group will be delighted with a visit to Tenby Museum, showcasing a fascinating collection of archaeological and maritime artifacts, whilst the Grade II* listed stone structure of Tenby Castle dates back to the 13th century. Be sure to visit during July, where you can witness the popular Long Course Weekend, well-known for being the biggest multi-sports festival in Europe, as well as the famous Ironman which takes place in September, where you can watch or take part in the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and 26.2-mile marathon. Take a step back in time and marvel at the spectacular 15th century architecture of the National Trust property, the Tudor Merchant's House, or if you time it right, journey to the monastic Caldey Island, with a history dating back over 1500 years, when a Celtic monastery was established. With majestic beaches and scenic trails along the Pembrokeshire coast, avid outdoor adventurers flock in their thousands to partake in the world-renowned Ironman Triathlon that takes place each year in Tenby, which sees contestants compete in a series of three long-distance sporting races, where spectators can watch the scenes from atop the cliffs or settled along the course within the bustling town-centre. With so much to see and do, treat yourself and your loved ones to an ocean retreat at Sea Drift and discover all that Tenby has to offer.
