Freshwater East is located just 4 miles outside the historic town of Pembroke, which has a variety of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants. Set right in the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, it is a truly unspoilt rural seaside location. The long beach, sheltered by sand dunes, is perfect for idyllic family days at the seaside. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, bodyboarding and beach games, or follow the coastal path for fabulous walks with spectacular scenery. Head east to the pretty and remote Swanlake Bay, or west to Stackpole Quay with its historic walled gardens and cosy café. History enthusiasts will love both Upton Castle which stands within gardens spanning over 35 acres and the magnificent Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, both within 8 miles. Folly Farm and Zoo, 10 miles away, has a variety of rides and many fascinating animals, whilst Heatherton World of Activities is within 8 miles and offers carting, paintballing and tree top trails. Sleeping six adults plus a baby, Tickled Pink is a bright holiday home is furnished to a high standard. With two verandas complete with seating, and sea views from one of the bedrooms it certainly makes the most of the seaside location. Climb the steps leading to the rear sun deck and entrance door, and head through to the generous open plan living space. The lounge area is spacious with large sofas where you can spend an evening watching a movie on the Smart TV, listening to music on the Hi Fi or iPod. The dining table seats six, so meals can be sociable affairs at any time of the day and night. Open the door to the veranda on warm nights and enjoy the sea breeze. The kitchen is equipped with an electric induction hob, oven, full size fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. On the ground floor there is a shower room/wet room with WC and washbasin/utility room which is useful for larger parties. Up to the first floor there is a family bathroom and all the bedrooms. The master double bedroom has an en suite shower room and a balcony with a sea view, where a glass of wine can be enjoyed after a busy day. The two twin bedrooms are pleasantly furnished. Outside, enjoy al fresco dining on the verandas morning, noon and night. To the front there is parking for two cars, with offloading to the rear. The beach is an easy walk within 300 metres; the local village pub within a mile and convenience store, fuel station and restaurant 2 miles away.
