With miles of scenic walks and cycle routes to be enjoyed from the doorstep as well as a range of climbs in the numerous Munros. The river and glen around Balquhidder is steeped in history, the Balquhidder kirkyard attracts many visitors from around the world to see the resting place of the famous outlaw Rob Roy. Regular visiting birds and wildlife can be spotted in the garden, from red squirrels, pine martens, pheasants, deer and many more. A range of water sports available for Loch Earn only 10 miles away. The Mhor 84 pub and restaurant is only a few miles away for you to enjoy an evening meal out. When you have explored the beauty of the surrounding area take a day out to Stirling 40 minutes away to indulge in art galleries, shopping, leisure and historic attractions. Take a few stairs down into the heart of the property, to a wonderfully cosy lounge with wooden floors, a beamed ceiling, a large fireplace with a warming wood burner, and comfortable seating from you can enjoy the TV with Sky channels, CD player, and iPod dock. where you can watch the birds and wildlife feeding from the bird feeder on the rear patio. Exploring further you will find the shower room with a shower cubicle, separate WC and wash hand basin. Head through the hallway with its traditional exposed walls and up a few steps leads to the tastefully decorated and furnished double bedroom. Stepping back outside into the delightful garden the owners have placed seating and bird feeders all around the garden for you to enjoy every aspect of the tranquil surroundings.
