Located in spectacular grounds above Loch Tay looking over to Ben Lawers (15.5 miles), this log cabin has an abundance of outdoor activities on its doorstep. With your own access to the shore and fantastic views surrounding you, wander down to the loch and fish for trout, or take a walk around the grounds to spot the deer, otters and ospreys that are often roaming. Adrenaline junkies can enjoy rafting at the Splash White Water Rafting Centre (16.5 miles), or why not enjoy a more leisurely wander around the popular Scottish Crannog Centre (10 miles) to learn about the ancient loch dwellings throughout Scotland that date from 5,000 years ago? The property itself is a homely cabin which gives guests a real taste of living in the great outdoors whilst offering all of the comforts of home. Throw open the door to the cabin and enter the living area where, with its large window and wooden panelling, it's difficult to tell where the outside ends and the inside begins. The cosy furnishings make this a relaxing and welcoming place to sit. Sink into the comfy sofas in front of the wood burner with a good book on cold winter evenings. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a tasty meal, and the views from the window make kitchen chores absolutely worthwhile. The cabin exudes rustic charm and when it's time for bed, head for a peaceful slumber in the snug double bedroom that boasts splendid views, while kids will love sleeping in the twin room. The bathroom has a bath and shower to choose from; there's also a separate cloakroom with WC. The utility room houses a washing machine and freezer. Outside the property, you are surrounded by lush greenery and fantastic views of the loch making it a nature lover's paradise. There is garden furniture available so you can make the most of being outside at any opportunity. If you're visiting with dogs, they will have a whale of a time running in the wild, plus there's the chance to fish as there is direct access to the loch.
