Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Kinloch near Blairgowrie in Kinross and Perthshire, is this superb three-bedroom chalet, The Lodge. Enjoying a prime location next to the Loch of Dumellie, a designated SSSI, with fantastic far-reaching countryside views down strath and the loch, The Lodge is a fantastic pet-friendly dwelling looking to add a touch of style to their next Scottish getaway. Leave your vehicle in one of three off-road parking spaces, before making your way into your new abode. Step into the open-plan living space, where you can look forward to impressing your guests with hearty dishes, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and ready to enjoy over a celebratory bottle of fizz at the dining table for six. After dinner, snuggle up on the plush seating and gather your loved ones for a family film night on the Smart TV, as your pooch curls up by the crackling woodburning stove. After a day of exploring, wash away the day with a soothing soak in the bath or freshen up under the overhead shower. When sleep calls, retire to one of three well-presented bedrooms, two super-king-size with the option of being a twin, and a king-size with its own en-suite shower room. In the morning, wake-up tired eyes with a steaming cup of coffee out on your private decking as you soak up the outstanding views. Head straight down to the loch where you can enjoy leisurely strolls whilst spotting the local wildlife or make your way over the nearby Loch of Culnie where keen anglers can cast their rods in the hope of catching the likes of Northern Pike, European Perch and Muskellunge. For a wider selection of amenities, make your way to Blairgowrie, where you will find everything, you need for a self-catered stay, including a butcher, bakers, convenience store, fishmongers and deli. Within Blairgowrie you can also join the scenic Ardblair Trail or treat your loved ones to a well-deserved meal at Cargill’s Restaurant and Bistro or fresh seafood from Little’s whilst enjoying views over the River Ericht. Those looking to test out their clubs whilst on holiday can do so at the excellent Blairgowrie Golf Club. Next stop is Kirriemuir, where you can explore the delights of the Tayside Police Museum, J M Barrie’s Birthplace and the Kirriemuir Gateway to the Glens Museum. You can head to Dunkeld, where you will find the charming Beatrix Potter Exhibition, a fascinating 14th-century cathedral, and a railway station for easy travel links. Be sure to visit the Scottish Wildlife Trust site of the Loch of the Lowes, home to the renowned Ospreys. Pitlochry is also easily accessible and home to the Blair Athol Distillery, Black Castle Ruins and the Faskally Forest. If you’re looking to indulge in a spot of retail therapy whilst on holiday, then head to The House of Bruar, an upscale store with food hall, whilst those seeking adventure can head to the delights of Glenshee Ski Centre.
