The Mamgu Lodge is a lovingly and tastefully furnished lodge situated in the stunning rural landscape of Mochdre, mid Wales. Whether you want to stay in and enjoy everything the lodge has to offer or you’d rather venture out and explore, then The Mamgu Lodge is ideal for you.
Centrally located you can easily access the west coast of Wales or even head over the border into England to explore the Shropshire Hills. If you’d prefer to stay more local, why not enjoy the Mid Wales Art Gallery and Sculpture Park or have a drink and some food at one of the many pubs and restaurants on offer in Newtown.
The Mamgu Lodge is filled with inviting and cosy furnishings to truly make your stay as comfortable as possible. After a day of exploring or full of relaxation, retire to one of the comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a TV for some late night watching and the separate Bothy bedroom is ideal for those wanting to experience a night closer to nature. This bedroom has no electricity and is heated by a wood burner only, offering a truly cosy and more natural sleeping experience.
