The Lodge is a wonderful, detached property that lies within the beautiful Taf Fechan Valley near Pontsticill in Powys. It is the perfect base for your holiday, located within the southern fringe of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park). With an outdoor hot tub to melt away your stresses and a Juliet balcony to soak in the views, this family-friendly lodge is ideal for four guests and their furry friend. Be greeted by ample off-road parking spaces before stepping into the lovely living/dining room, bathed in natural light through its patio doors. Settle down on the sofa where you can enjoy family favourites on the Smart TV or curl up on an armchair and escape into a good book. Tuck-into hearty meals at the dining table, which can be prepared next door in the contemporary kitchen, courtesy of the electric oven and hob. Throw open the patio doors and savour a glass of wine on the garden furniture, as your pet stretches their legs; afterwards take a dip in the hot tub to watch the sunset. As the evening draws to an end, head indoors and climb upstairs, where you can rest your head in either a twin bedroom with a Juliet balcony or a double, featuring skylights. Awaken with a rinse in the ground-floor shower room before joining your loved ones one for a cup of tea at the dining table to plan the adventures of the day ahead. The picturesque village of Pontsticill is just a 5 minute drive from your doorstep and is home to two inviting pubs which serve up tasty meals, whilst also being a stone's throw away from the Pontsticill Reservoir, where you can enjoy some canoeing. A 15 minute scenic car journey will take you to all your local amenities, including a range of supermarkets and shopping centre. Lace up your walking boots and explore the unspoiled landscape of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park), including the famed peak of Pen-y-Fan or sit back and relax on the Brecon Mountain Railway to absorb the sights; there is also Morlais Castle Golf Club for the sporting enthusiasts. Embark on an adventure to the city of Newport, here you can have a guided tour around the 17th-century, Tredegar House, meander around the ancient Caerleon Roman Fortress Baths and learn about the city's history at Newport Museum and Art Gallery. For a holiday like no other, escape with your loved ones to The Lodge. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1096068, together sleeping up to 10 guests.
