Abernant Barn has been beautifully renovated from a 100 year old stable block into a luxurious holiday home / cottage in the heart of Wales. Wonderfully secluded and set in 8 acres of private pasture, bordered by the River Irfon on one side and the Nant Cerdin on the other. The property includes fishing rights on the banks of the Irfon which runs only metres from the property. The accommodation includes underfloor heating throughout and large lounge with a wood burning stove for those cosy evenings. Outside an under cover decked area with sunken hot tub provides space to relax and BBQ whatever the weather. The village of Llanwrtyd Wells, the smallest town in Britain is only a 10 minute walk away and is well served by three pubs and a local store/garage. The local railway station is a 5 minute walk from the barn where a regular service on the heart of wales line will take you towards Builth Wells or Llandovery.
Located in Llanwrtyd Wells, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. The Cambrian Woollen Mill and Llandovery Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Brecon Beacons National Park and Rock Park. Traveling with kids? Consider Royal Welsh Showground and Gigrin Farm Red Kite Feeding Centre. Discover the area's water adventures with kayaking and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking and mountain biking.
